My '95 ATX usually mets around 20mpg about town and around 29-30mpg on the
highway. Best mileage to date was on vacation last year - around 30mpg
with full trunk, packed back seat, two passengers (myself and my brother)
and full A/C at speeds around 70-75mph. I know I could get an easy 31mpg
or better if I kept the speed constant and had nothing in the car.

With my '93 ATX, I averaged 22 MPG in daily driving. Highest MPG I ever got
was 26 MPG on a high speed run from St. Louis to Madison, WI going down 55
and 39. I averaged 80 MPH.

I don't know about the cats, but I average about 23 MPG on a mixed cycle of
probably 40 miles highway and 15 street a day. On the highway, I do my
best to stay above 80. Otherwise I might get rear ended by someone. On
the evening jaunt to the house, I typically do 85 with a nice long,
four-lane and cop free bridge that I take at 100ish. This is with the AC
on and
regular gas and a irregular check engine light. MPG wise, this may seem a
bit low for some, but I am happy enough with it.
