Subject: Gen II ATX Questions -- fuel mileage problems

If my O2 sensors are relatively new. How can one check the CATS?? I just
assumed that a engine code would be thrown, or the CATS would rattle, or there
would be no exhaust, if the CATS went bad??

If you take the car to a dyno, is a air/fuel ratio number thrown out. And if I
have one of Ted B chips in the car, what should be A/F ratio be????????

If the engine is not idling roughly or surging at cruise, I'd suggest
checking the O2 sensors as well as the cats. Plugged cats or poor mixture
feedback frequently can cause bad mileage.
