[Shotimes] Merc Marauder

Mark Hlady over on the V8 list sold his SHO recently, and he's had a new
Marauder for awhile. He's going to be installing a blower setup on it. He's
a county cop in MN somewhere, so I guess the car feels more like "home"
(they use CVs as patrol cars, IIRC).

This made my chuckle.  You are a police officer, right?  What better way
to break into jail than with a 460HP car.  : )

I think people are doing things to these cars to make them go faster in
general, but no doubt the car is fast.

I haven't driven one or against one (AFAIK), but I really wonder if the
stock automatic transmission is up to the task of that kind of increase. 
By my math, that increase is close to 50% over stock.  You might also find
the engine internals might not withstand that additional stress without
modification.
