Lost power and engine stopped or does it still run? If the timing belt
broke, the engine would not run.

Subject: [Shotimes] A little help please

I did a liotle auto-x ing this weekend, had a blast right up until my last
run, when all if a sudden, i lose power, and not it seems like it turns
ovewr way too fast, there was no violent crunches or any noise of any kind,
nothing leaking on ground. Is that what a Broken Timing belt feels like ??
any answers would help greatly, car has lots of miles, this is an engine i
bought from a Salvage yard, did not put new belt when it was installed.
Hate to junk the old girl, but you can only throw money at something for so
long
