Well at 172K on the clock of the 90 and a few guys here can attest to this even when the valve stem seals started showing signs of leaving the car I still drove it like I stole it. I tried that whole shifting by the owners manual once just to see and I fell asleep... 1-2 shift for me hard 5500 at least carry the 2-3 shift to 5000. 3-4 4500 4-5 4000. And I've been know to hold the secondaries open through the first 4. And seeing how that Hypertech chip does little more then open those runners at 3600 it's pretty damn easy to keep them open.
Dave After I blow it up I'll do it all over again.

To All Those Hi-Milage/no-spun bearing/ Memebers;
I would like to hear about the driving habits that all you fortunate
SHO-GOS have. What's your 1 - 2 shift rpm, do you shift from 1 - 3rd, you know
what I'm talking about. Depending on how I feel, I take my SHO thru all the
paces...never over 5500 or so, but rarely. Do you shift to 2nd to get on the
freeway, or 3rd? I'm not afraid of doing a bearing job cuz I have to replace
the Y-pipe anyways. So all you 150k plus SHOMEN and LADIES, step up to the
plate and be heard!

Thank You Marlene ! ! ! and all the rest of you very much!.
