This is so true. Makes me wonder if Premium is always a good choice.
I worked at a gas station back in the day, and we sold 10x as much regular
as we did premium.
But we also kept less premium in the tanks, so perhaps it would even itself
out.

The car isn't knocking.....unless you hear it. This "phantom knocking that
you can't hear" is a load of BS, IMNSHO. The knock sensor works on a
frequency of sound, and with all of the other things going on in the engine,
it isn't THAT precise.
May times stations will sell a LOT more 87 than other types, so the gas will
be fresher.
