[Shotimes] Radio Problem

I think the radio in my wife's Escort died.  Comes on and you can hear dead air in the speakers then the display says TELE.  Oh well I need to replace it with a cheap unit as the car has 108,000 and just goes back & forth to work all of 1 1/2 miles each way.  I'd like to make the install as easy as possible.  I'd like to have have plug right in to the factory plugs.  Anyone know of an inexpensive unit that'll do that.  Does Crutchfield have kits that allow you to use the factory plugs on aftermarket units?  What's the best way to go.  TIA,
