Where Crutchfield is handy is their amp adapters - either to use the factory
amps or bypass them while keeping the factory harness...
(Don't know if that's an issue with the Escort.)

Crutchfield has the kits but so does any car audio shop. Basically you would
get the kit that is specific to her model and year Escort and splice them
into the new stereo's wiring harness. It's all pretty much color coded and
labeled these days so it's pretty easy.
