[Shotimes] antenna wrench

Mark and Frank, I do believe the failure mechanism will be greatly
accelerated if you don't remove the old stub in the motor assembly.
Getting to the assembly isn't like changing the air filter, but it isn't
as bad as other repairs either. Pull the wheel, pull the fender liner and
it's right there.

Don't get me wrong. It would be tough for this part to last forever
because of the forces it has to deal with, but the design itself for a
retractable antenna is pretty straightforward. On my 92, I've only
replaced the mast once in 12 years and 210K miles due to my carelessness.
And I use my radio EVERY time I drive the car. One thing I do is to make
sure the mast is clean. This is much easier now that I live in south
Florida, but if you wipe it down whenever you fill up your gas (get a
paper towel and clean the mast) it should help because you are keeping
debris off the mast that will increase resistance.
