You need to improve the description of the problem. It's very hard to fix
cars over the internet. The more detailed description of what it does and
the things you have done to try and fix it, the better. When you say you had
it checked out. Who checked it out? What was checked out and what did they
do? Do you have headlights or anything else when it shuts down? Does it
start back up? Have you done any of the basic thing? Clean the battery
terminals? New battery or old? Car cranks slow or fast or normal?
To get the correct answer your going to have to find out more and report
back. Try to report the details that matter and not personal details that
are great to talk about to your girlfriends but won't help fix your car.
You may have a simple answer to your problem but maybe not? We can't tell
yet from your description.
