[Shotimes] What are your favorite 3 add-on gauges?

Mark explained it, but a BIG part of the LPM with the BOS was to lean out
the engine, since it was set up so rich. Really nothing in the BOS mods per
se that would change the a/f ratio much, if any.
There is a proper a/f ratio for the engine that produces the best power. If
that setup happens to cause a bit of rasp near 4K when the secondaries open,
so be it. I would put on a bigger resonator rather than fatter the mixture
just to eliminate the rasp.
Running leaner is more optimum for power (within certain ranges), fat a/f
ratios were a band-aid for a lot of old carbed OHV engines that couldn't be
tweaked as well as a modern EFI engine.

This brings up another point then.
I've been told that a BOS setup (ie. enhanced intake and exhaust) tends to
make the motor run lean. So, one of the changes the LPM makes is to
fatten the fuel tables. And, I am running an LPM in my car.
Now, I've actually thought that the car was running rich which is the
opposite of previous paragraph, but is consistent with your message. Keep
in mind I'm running a 3.2L upgrade with 3.0L intake cams.
Then, another series of notes says that if your exhast rasps, this is a
sign of engine running lean.
So, what is the proper way to really get this right?
