[Shotimes] (OT) ISDN vs Dial-up

I'm wondering if a USB to Serial port adaptor will work with Allen-Bradley 
PLC software for PLC 5s, SLC 500s and Contrologix on a Win 2000 OS.  Anyone 
have a clue?
