OK. Their catalog is inconsistent. On one page, it shows the 'C' suffix, on
another, where it lists the part #'s by 'size', the column for Redstuff
non-ceramic is filled in and the column for the Redstuff ceramic isn't.

I quit...... ;-) I guess I'll stick to Performance Friction!

What are you talking about? Here's the piece of your post from a few minutes
ago that has the Gen 3 SHO 598 size for Redstuff:
++++++++
EBC's catalog http://www.ebcbrakes.com/Assets/2004_5USAautocat.pdf doesn't
show that Redstuff is available for the SHO, however, if you look further
down, it lists the 598 size for a Thunderbird. The Redstuff 598 part # is
DP31168C. This would work on all '96-'99 SHO's and any earlier SHO with the
'96 upgrade.

They don't show any rear pads in Redstuff, only Greenstuff.
+++++++++

I just realized, the Redstuff Ceramic isn't available for the SHO. Never
mind! It would have a 'C' suffix on the part #.

Hmmm... I'll write EBC and see if they will 'comp' me a new set. I bought
the pads early this year or late last year.

Sounds like you have the "old formula" Greenstuff pads. If you read farther
down through that thread, there is also a discussion of the new Greenstuff.
They also sound good for pure street use.

It appears that it might not be true rotor warp, but pad material deposits
on the rotor.

I hate my Greenstuff pads with a passion! Loudest pads I have ever had. Will
not quiet down! I have 14,000 miles on them. Rotors are warped. This is on
my Jetta. I wonder if I got the old formulation? I bought them this year.

This link has been around for a couple of months, but I just stumbled across
it:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=578151

It's a test of the new EBC Red Ceramic pads on a Rally car, plus the main
post has some interesting comments on the EBC company and pads in general.

Don't know if these are available in SHO sizes yet, but I suspect they will
be eventually.
