They lost their shorts on SHO. Then to add insult to injure, they HAD to
take '99 SHOs before they could get all of the pickups and SUVs they wanted.

The dealers know a stinker when they see one (from a sales perspective).
They would never accept a new Edsel, just like they didn't like SHOs.

FWIW, anything "performance" going forward would fall under the SVT banner,
anyway. 

I believe the "SHO" name is dead. Just like we would never see another
Pinto, Edsel, or Vega.

better SHO can be built by Ford.
