[Shotimes] Oil Leak

Hi all-
I seem to have developed a new oil leak in the past week or so. Is there some
sort of external oil line (cooler line?) that runs along a shelf on the
transmission above the pan where the filter sits? The oil (engine oil) is
running down the transmission case in the area between the oil pan and the
trans pan and only really leaks when the system is pressurized and shortly
after the car is shut off. I can't seem to find any references to a line in
that area in the helms manual but I can see it with a mirror (barely) and
touch it (barely).
Can anyone confirm its existence and explain what its for so that I have at
least a little bit of a clue before I spend the time to rip off the y-pipe
and oil pan to get to it. Also, can someone tell me if this line (assuming
it exists) is made of rubber hose or if it is a metal line. Naturally, I
find this leak *after* I just get done putting the bottom end all back
together from doing a new oil pan gasket and rod bearings etc.
Oh and in case anyone is interested, as stated earlier I did the rod bearing
change recently, here are some pics of the top bearings that I pulled out.
The car has 151,000 miles on it, I bought it with approx 60,000 miles back in
2000 and have run mobil 1 10w-30 oil since then.

Thanks in advance for any responses on the oil leak problem,
