Around here the young 'uns buy late 80's early 90's. As stated the ins would
be too high besides the cost of the car. Then for 10k (motor gears and
trans) or so they can build a low 11 high 10 second car. In a Stang with 350
HP the GM 6 speed works very well (in my son's Stang). Total cost 11k
including car. One of the same reasons that the SHO is a good used deal. Why
buy new to go fast.
