No, it was not a factory option. I would take it to a qualified auto
alarm shop and have them try and remove it.

Subject: [Shotimes] anti-theft system? stock or not?
Hey guys, I have another question about Annabelle.
There's this little button just aft of the auto-lamp sensor that blinks,
and it's for this ignition cut-off circuit. If it's not blinking, and
you either leave the keys in the ignition or set the alarm off somehow
or do something else that I haven't figured out yet, it doesn't let you
start the car (you can turn to crank, but nothing happens - really scary
at first lol) until you hit this little button right above the handle
for the fusebox. I've figured out that if you hit this little button
near the autolamp sensor until it starts blinking in sets of two, then
it (the cutoff circuit) seems to be disabled, until you set the alarm
off.
Is this thing from the factory? Does anybody else have this in their
car? I've never seen it, and it's a PITA when I'm dropping it off with
people. How do I rip this thing out? I don't want it. Thanks for any
help...
Jason
