[Shotimes] anti-theft system? stock or not?

It probably wasn't a factory thing but many dealers
were (and still are) installing aftermarket alarm
systems. I believe that any alarm that you may find in
a gen1/2 SHO installed by a dealer would be a
CodeAlarm which may or may not have been bought out by
DEI a few years ago (I can't remember).
However, I second Dave-either remove it yourself or
take it to a good stereo/alarm shop but I'd avoid most
dealers if you want to have it removed.
