My '86 LX was over $18K! Of course that was when they had a bazillion trim
packages. L, GL, MT5, SE (maybe) and LX, which was the top of the line.

That may have been the "bare bones SHO" sticker, but even based on George's
$25K+ sticker on the '90 Lowrider, I'll bet that a comparably-equipped '91
SHO probably easily topped $24K, if not $25K. The LX back then was pretty
well loaded.

In March of 1991, the suggested retail base price of a SHO was $22,132
while the next highest model (the LX) was $17,029.  So about a $5K
premium for the SHO in 1991.
