I had to replace the heater core right after I got it in '99, $675 (but not the blend door).
And the chintzy bastards didn't even give me new hoses or clamps.
(that was before I found this list)

Your '89 is semi-loaded. The leather, 2-6-ways, power antenna and JBL were
optional. Sounds about right (with a sticker about $1K over my '89).
FWIW, I had the choice of another black one, identical except it had the
EATC, which was about a $185 option. Glad I didn't get THAT option, I never
had to replace a blend door with the standard 3-knob setup!

I don't know about that, my '89 has full leather, 2 6 ways, power antenna,
A/C, JBL's but, no moonroof, no keyless (PITA, wish it did), no c/d and no
electronic etac.
As 2nd owner, I don't have the original sticker, but I remember having seen
some
documentation about it being 23 and change.
