[Shotimes] tie rods and rotors

Wilwood rotors are true "racing parts". They don't bother setting wear
limits because racers never let them wear down. The rotors either get
changed out quite often as part of regular maintenance or the car is in a
accident causing the rotor to be broken before it wears out. That .81 rotor
is actually intended for rear brakes on dirt sprint cars. Most sprint teams
would replace the rotor once every year at least. If a typical sprinter
races once a week on a 1/2 mile track, then the mileage should be easy to
estimate. Lets see, 15 laps for practice/warm-ups, 20 laps for a heat race,
25 laps for a consi and 40 laps for a feature. So 100 laps x 1/2 mile x 25
weeks per year for a season. Looks like you should hope to get 1,250 mile
or so before you need to change rotors. YMMV :-)

Anyone know how far the .81" Wilwood rotors can wear before they're no
longer safe? Do they have a minimum thickness like all OEM rotors do?

There are much more experienced brake experts here than me, but as long
as there isn't any warpage of the rotors, I'd just let them go. If the
car stops straight, with no shaking of the pedal or the wheel, and no
noise, I'd consider them fine.
You could get rid of the grooves by smoothing off the pads....they cause
the grooves, so if you smooth them, the rotors will smooth out too, over
time.
