[Shotimes] Gen3 seats in Gen 2

As an alternate opinion, after having spent 2.5 years in Gen 3 seats in my
'99, I prefer the Gen 1/2 seats. The adjustable side bolsters are the big
factor, as the seat bottoms are the same short length in both. Also prefer
the cloth/leather (which is all I've ever had across my Gen 1 & 2s). Movable
headrest on Gen 1/2 is also nice, but as I understand the '96 and some/all
'97s had them.

Never felt as "locked in" as with the Gen 1/2 seats....particularly at the
track, but also in normal driving.

I concur....I have Gen III seats in my Gen II car. They are good and comfy

for my tush considering everything in the engine bay/suspension is solid.

easy swap!

My wife who hates leather has a set of full cloth GEN III seats in her 95.
My Son has a set of full leather GEN III seats in his 89. We have only done
the front seats and they bolt right in. You do have to change the electrical
connector, but it is very easy. We have found that the GEN III seats are WAY
more comfortable than the GEN I or II seats. Although we haven't done it, I
understand with some work, the rear seats can also be switched out.
