[Shotimes] Convention #14 info and reg form avail.

Having been through the whole Convention scheduling deal over the years,
July definitely ends up being the best month. Also helps to have a location
where families can enjoy a vacation.
The drags don't matter (from a "best time") perspective as much. All cars
are relative to the heat, so the quickest car will still have the best time,
even if it isn't as good as they get in better weather. Plus, we run
bracket-type eliminations anyway, so your time doesn't matter as much as
your consistency.

We have had super hot conventions before, even up in the
northern US it gets hot.
Cars may run a bit better in March or November, but the
weather pretty much sucks and it rains too much.
August is getting into school time, and June is about as
good as july, but too rainy sometimes.
We have settled into a nice pattern with good weather and
good events in July. WE get few complaints.
And for purposes of seeing who is fastest at one particular
time, drags in July or August are just as good a yardstick
as any other time of the year. You can still have fun, and
if the times are a couple tenths off, I can tell you that
most people don't really care.
