For as hot as Tulsa was, Atlanta was worse in '99!! Same temps (98-102) but
humidity to match. I was seeing 100 on the car temp readout, and the track
(dragstrip) said that the track temp was 120.

Ha!  You must not have been at the Tulsa Convention.  That was a combination
convention and weight loss clinic.  A lot of A/C compressors gave their
lives that week.  :)
