[Shotimes] '96 brakes spare tire?

 The stock doughnut will not fit the 96 upgrade nor will your 15 inch full
size spare. 2 ways to fix this. Get the correct doughnut from a 96 and up
SHO which I did. Also 95 and up Lincoln Continental will work. Someone also
posted that the Gen IV Taurus uses this spare too but I am not sure? Or keep
the stuff you have and if you get a flat on the front be ready to swap a
rear slicer up front and put the spare on the rear. Boy that full size spare
takes a lot of trunk space and then the floor is no longer flat too. Pretty
rare option as I have only seen this in pictures and I must have been thru
at least a 100 or so Taurus/Sable/SHO's in the junk yards!
 If you use a slicer for your spare, it fits poorly in the trunk well. I
would shop around for the proper spare just to conserve trunk space.
