[Shotimes] '96 brakes spare tire?

No, the stock gen1-2 spare does not fit over the 96
brakes. If you are ever in a jam (I was on my 94), you
can swap the rear tire with the front and put the
donut on the rear. Technically you shouldn't have a
donut on a drive wheel anyway so I guess it was safer.

Now that I have the wilwoods up front, I keep a slicer
with an all season radial in the trunk along with a $9
wal-mart jack. (I don't trust OEM scissor jacks)
