I put one in (plus the IPT Stage 2 clutch) when I had the housing open anyway
to replace the throwout bearing.  Just a couple of weeks after I bought the 
car two years ago.  It sure feels like I have quite a lot more acceleration 
in 1st and second gears, getting on the freeways.  It is easier to stall, yes, 
and the engine braking is also significantly increased, but those tradeoffs 
are worth it IMO.
