[Shotimes] Well I'm Pretty Sure It's the CPS

Because I hear my fuel pump working everytime I turn
my power on, even when the car doesn' start.... That
and the random stalling (only when in neutral) I got
stuck in the middle of an intersection yesteday... My
question is how long can I keep this up until the CPS
fails on me completely??? Because now I'm planning to
do most (except valve lash adjustment) or even all of
my 60k service, which I'm sure has never been done...
I dont want to keep going into my engine for
everything seperately... But it will take me a few
weeks or maybe even more than a month to get all the
parts together, plus the tools, even though I and my
friends have most.... And in the mean while, I need my
SHO as my daily driver.... Not to mention that in
order to work on it I have to drive it down from NYC
to Baltimore.... That's where all my tools are and my
friends who'll help me... Are there any quick fixes?
how long should i expect to drive around like that?
Please answer my questions.. I really enjoy my car, it
just needs quite a bit of work, but that is difficult
because It's my daily driver in NYC, and I do my work
on cars in Baltimore, for lack of tools and other
necessities... although I will eventually god give me
a better job, buy my own tools that I can take up here
(as of now I only own a two and a half ton jack, 2 6
ton jackstands, a small set of metric wrenches, and a
small set of standard sockets the smallest sizes)...
Anyway, this must be a lut of extra information, Just
please tell me How long do I have? And if the CPS
fully goes, does it damage the engine?
                                 Thank You Very Much
Guys Vladimir
