You've gotta figure that simultaneously blowing joints on both sides is
extremely improbable.  If you blow one CV joint on a car with an LSD,
shouldn't it still drive the other side?

My guess is pressure plate.  Clutch pedal had been starting to get heavy.  I
can't remember with certainty but I think that at the moment of failure I
was downshifting from 3 to 2 for the hill.
