[Shotimes] What Went Wrong?

Hey Guys... just went to visit a buddy just 2 miles
away from me and SHO ran fine on the way over. Spent
about an hour with him, and when I started SHO to 
leave it would not start and made strange noises like
timing was way off. Finally got her going by holding
pedal to the floor and now tach does not work and
CHECK ENGINE light is on. Did my cam sensor decide it
was time to go or what? Engine seems to run sort of
OK, once it's running but does not want to start. 
Almost sounds like timing belt broke when it's trying
to start. Oh yeah, to give you some background,
it's a 95 MTX with 81,000 miles on her. I don't think
nothing but fluid changes have been done since new.
I have an extended warranty still in effect so I'm
going to bring her into Rick from Sarasota Fl.
Someone on this list reccommended him. Thanks.
