Don't know about the cat back question.
A 3.2 transplanted into an mtx does use the mtx motor mounts and mounting
points. Also uses the 3.0 Y-pipe. Only the 3.2 short block is used. All
other items are 3.0 pieces.

Subject: [Shotimes] cat-back and 3.2 conversion
Does anyone know whether a cat-back designed for the SHO sedan might also be
adapted to fit a wagon?
Also, Tauri who've had a 3.2L conversion use MTX mount points, right? So
they can use a Y-pipe designed for a 3.0L car, right?
Just planning ahead.
