[Shotimes] custom y-pipe?

Ok first this was on my '97.

I had gone to 2.5" straight through mufflers, removed the third cat and 2.5"
tips. Felt that I lost low end torque. Fiddled with the plate and if wheel
spin is an indication I did gain some back.

Took the plate out and did not really see any gains in the quarter mile
though. When I put the original 1.75" tips on the car again I did pick up
low end power but it hurt at the highway speeds. That is my current
configuration.

When the tips rusted off and I ran without any it did definitely hurt low
end power IMHO. It was also very loud.
