That's what you do....you loosen the 10 mm bolts holding the hood to the hinges, and
slide it backward the amount you want.  Loosesn them up JUST ENOUGH to let it slip
backwards with some effort....if they are too loose, when you raise it up again to
tighten them, it will slip again, and your adjustment will be lost.
