LOL!!! How quaint!!!! Pen and paper! I don't even carry a checkbook anymore.
All of it is keyed directly into Pocket Quicken and then downloaded to
Quicken when I get around to it.

Software is your brain. Hardware is the pen or pencil. The screen is your
8x10 notebook. I record date of maintenance, a detail on the maintenance,
and the doer of the maintenance, each in a neat column. No worry about
batteries, dropping it or loss of data. Open the cover and a year's (or
more) worth of stuff is all right there in one page. Simple, quick and
effective. Haven't found a better system in 34 years for the 29 cars that
have made a home in my garage. Oh, and it is infinitely cheaper! :-)

This isn't really OT since I'll be doing this to my SHO as well as my other
cars. Anyone have any experience with any of the packages for the pocket PC
that keep track of operating and maintenance expenses on cars?

I would like one that I would key in the mileage, gallons and cost as well
as mileage and an overview or detail of maintenance. I need to do this for
multiple cars.

A nice to have would be a tickler system that would remind me to do some
maintenance (change brake fluid every 2 years, change oil every 10,000
miles).

There are tons of packages out there, any suggestions?

Thanks!
