No quite.  This only damaged the key and not the keyway.  But identical
symptoms and that is the SHO tie -in.  :)

    Been tinkering with my turd of a turtle Snapper snowblower for the last
week.  Seems it would take a richer and richer mixture last year to keep it
running.  This year I started it and it ran the same.  Took the carb off and
cleaned it all out and I could not get it restarted.  Of course I figured I
fubared the carb somehow.
    Any way I proceeded to take all apart, good compression, wet plug, good
spark but no start.
    Turns out the flywheel key sheared off.  It's not only the SHOs that give
me fits.....
