[Shotimes] Rod Knock Advice needed

If the noise is worse after the bearing change, it seems that you may still
have a problem with a rod/bearing. Is there any possibility that you nicked
the crank with a rod bolt or maybe the bearing cap didn't fully seat before
torturing the bolts? Unfortunately, you may need to go back in and check
each rod.

I replaced them in the 91 as PM. Didn't knock before or after. Sorry, no
help there.

You torqued the bolts to spec, surely.

Is it possible you somehow were given the wrong bearings?

Anyone have any experience replacing rod bearings?
Replaced mine, still knocks. Even Louder now than before.
Bearings were well worn but had not spun.
Knock was soft before and is now severe.
Any ideas??????
