Scott is a great guy who does good work (he performed the 60k and 100k
services on my ATX two years ago) but is located a ways away from Austin.
If you'd like to find someone closer to you, loren, try hitting up Sergio
Perfetti in Houston.  His e-mail addy is magooracing@webtv.net.  As with
Scott, Sergio has worked on several LSSHOC memebers' cars and does equally
great work.  Another good guy who really knows the SHO.

It depends how "near" you want!

There's a nice guy, Scott Patterson, in Richardson Texas who's done more
than his fair share of SHO work.  He frequents the SHO Forum
(www.shoforum.com): Member name SDPATT, #51, and has the 2nd most posts of
all time ;^)

The only thing to be wary of is he'll tell you he's seen some odd cam lobe
wear from people having used certain synthetic oils in their SHOs.  That
goes against 99% of what the SHO world will say, but 99% of the SHO world
hasn't done the number of 60k services that Scott has.

I haven't met him in person, but seems like a good guy.  You may want to
give him a call/email.
