Carl I have to disagree with you on not feeling a big difference. If it is
dirty from an over oiled filter the difference from dirty to clean is quite
profound. BTDT with my AMSoil filter that in the summer time when hot the
oil from it seems to make it's way into the intake track, even though it is
fairly dry when I put it on a paper towel.

Same here.  John, remember that the sensor is just a short metal filament.
 It can only get so dirty and you want to be gentle with it.  I wouldn't
expect any big before and after effect.
