Well, it's finally happened. After roughly a decade of owning two SHOs
(first a 1989, then a 1995), I'm moving on. I'm picking up my new car
(Infiniti G35 Sedan - yes, with the 6sp manual) Saturday.

Since (despite the best efforts of my employer) I haven't found a way to
be in two places at once, my 1995 SHO is soon-to-be for sale.

General info :

Emerald Green exterior, Mocha leather interior (front seats decent, no
tears, but worn, rear seats excellent)

"slicer" wheels with 225/55/16 Nitto NT-450 "Extreme Performance" tires
- ~50-70% tread depth remaining,

Tinted windows (quality tint, still in good condition after 5 years).
125k miles.

More info (the good) :

Suspension has Tokico/Eibach combo, with 23 mm front/26 mm rear
anti-sway bars, front and rear strut tower braces, "Subframe
connectors" (unibody stiffeners), Delrin/Polyurethane suspension
bushings, and even a trailer hitch (used a bike rack on it, never towed
anything). This car still handles VERY well, and is probably one of
the stiffer SHO's around.

Performance mods include SHO Shop underdrive pullies, catco Y pipe,
dynomax cat-back, 96 SHO front brake upgrade, and a Ted Breaux LPM
computer chip (removed at last inspection when I had issues passing
emissions, more on that below).

Stereo is a Clarion Alpha RAX330F Tape Deck Head Unit attached to a
Clarion Pro-Audio CDC605 6-Disc CD Changer custom mounted in center
console. Speakers are Pioneer all around - 6x9 in rear deck, 6" in
doors.

Other features include :

Momo replacement pedals

BEL 840i hardwired radar / laser detector (goes with the car)

Autometer gauges - Voltmeter, Water Temperature, and Oil Pressure

Drawtite trailer hitch

CodeAlarm Elite 2000se Security System

PIAA 1500XT Driving Lights (one has rock hole, but have replacement I'll
include) replace stock fog lights - 72,000 candlepower

Ford "blue ovals" replaced with Yamaha logos

"Recent" maintenance (other than oil changes, and occasional top-off of
coolant, and brakes - this is all I've had to do on the car since the
60k) includes :

Replacement transmission installed (under extended warranty - whew!) at
73k miles to do "pinion gear" failure (which resulted in a small hole in
trans case and no fluid - amazingly I drove the car into the dealer with
no more symptoms than a bit of unidentifiable smoke from under the hood,
which was trans fluid hitting exhaust/motor).

Intake manifold seal, plugs, and plug wires replaced ~3 months ago as
seal was leaking and had fouled plugs due to oil in plug wells - failed
emissions horribly in this state - passed with flying colors afterwards.
;-)

New front brakes (pads/rotors) relatively recently (<1 year).

More info (the bad) :

Has 125,000 miles, and has NOT had the second 60k done. The first was
done at 65k - all was good, water pump replaced then due to leakage.

Power antenna is not functional (motor runs, mast does not move - I have
it "fixed" at about 1/3 normal height)

Radio head unit volume / tuning is "occasionally" hard to adjust - seems
worse when car is cold, better once it's warmed up (odd). Disassembled
radio once, didn't see a way to fix. Annoying, but not disastrous, so
I've lived with it - will probably require new head unit to completely
fix.

Far right side passenger AC vent is "stuck" in closed position.

There MAY be a slight coolant leak somewhere - have had "low coolant"
light come on 2 times in last 6 months or so, added coolant to overflow
and haven't been able to track it down yet.

Yet more info (the ugly) :

There is a small dent high on the rear drivers side corner, just under
the trunk lid as a result of my backing into a PVC sink in my garage.
Amazingly the car dented, but the sink survived with barely a scratch.

There is a ~2 inch "rip" or "tear" in the front bumper (plastic) on the
right hand side as a result of my rear ending a pickup at ~5mpg (no
damage at all to him). From more than a few feet away, this is hardly
noticeable (at least not enough for me to of had it fixed). The front
lip of the hood has a VERY slight bend to it (hardly noticeable) from
the same incident, which does not interfere with the latch closing the
hood.

I can provide pictures to anyone interested (once it stops raining and I
can take some) and will meet with anyone in the greater Houston area
who'd like to look at the car.

For those of you that have been on SHOtimes for a LONG time (and with a
good memory), this was James Morganstein's car before me - I am the
second owner.

The AC works, the car starts quickly every time, and handles great
(think I already mentioned that) - normal dyno oil every 3-3.5k miles
with new filter. This car has been my daily driver, but other than
"the ugly" above, is in good shape for it's age/mileage.

Asking $3000 - contact me directly via email if interested.
