Don,

You are aware that some northen states (I believe ND and SD in this
instance) have no "official" speed limit for roads like interstate
highways, etc.?  I worked with a guy who was from SD, and IIRC he told me
that there were no speed limits up there.  So long as you kept it under a
buck you were generally left alone, he said.  Above that, and you might get
pull over for a "warning" or something similar.

You gotta check your mirrors more often, even in boring
territory!

SD bad scenery?  I guess some portions of it do, but get
around the Black Hills and it is some of the prettiest
scenery in the world.

You also gotta get off the interstate once in a while!

Glad you got a pass.  They probably weren't kidding about
you not getting off so easy in the next state!
