Justin, I've heard too about the raspy sound without a resonator. And for sure, I want my SHO to sound good. Does Walker make a 2.5" resonator?Michael94MTX,green,BOS+--- On Mon 01/12, Carl Prochilo < gr8sho@prochilo.myserver.org > wrote:From: Carl Prochilo [mailto: gr8sho@prochilo.myserver.org]To: molsen@excite.comCc: shotimes@autox.team.netDate: Mon, 12 Jan 2004 16:57:45 -0500 (Eastern Standard Time)Subject: Re: [Shotimes] Walker cat-back smaller than expected.Mike,I replaced the resonator on my Walker with a 2.5" straight pipe, so that'scertainly an option.I know at least one person that had work done to go to a 3" single pipesystem all the way back off a HiFlow Y-pipe. You can hear it blocks away. The single pipe was primarily a weight consideration more than anythingelse, plus the car is used only off-road.-- Cheers,Carl Prochilo1992 Ultra Red CrimsonMichael said:> Hi, I just realized, after having used it for 4y now, that the> Walker/Dynomax cat-back is actually only a 2.25" system, and not a 2.5"> system as I had thought all along.
