Ed,
Per the 95 EVTM, here are the connections. You are close:
9 - Not Used
10 - Not Used
11 - Not Used
Space
12 - DB - Logic Mute
13 - BK/LG - Ground
14 - Y - 12V Power Feed
The other pins 1-8 are the speaker signals to each speaker. I would check
to see where your red wire goes. Pin 13 needs a ground connection. My
guess is you don't have that. Red usually is a switched 12V source, yellow
is usually hot at all times, and green or black/green wire is usually
ground. Oh, and blue is the amp turn on signal (12V, very low amp draw).
