[Shotimes] battery light on launch

Hmmm, when you launch, the engine moves a bit in its mounts. Could it be
your stressing a wire connection at the alternator? That happened to my '94
once. There is one thin, single wire push-on connector at the alternator. I
believe the wire was white. I was getting intermittent ALT light. Splicing a
new connector on to the wire cured it.
Good luck...

I'm getting a battery light for a few seconds when leaving a stoplight,
especially when the engine's cold. Battery has been tested OK for unloaded
volts, not tested under load. I am thinking of taking it into Sears in the
morning for a charging system check-out. Wondering about a weak alternator.
Any other ideas?
