[Shotimes] Bearing whine? dunno

 Has the serpentine belt been changed? If it's not pretty new I would take
off the old belt. Start the car for a few seconds to see if the whine is
gone. Shut it off and check that all the pulleys turn free and don't feel
rough before installing the new belt. Even a small amount of roughness that
you can feel will cause problems under load. It does sound like a idler
pulley but check them all. Maybe water pump or alternator too?
