Before you get too far on this, buy an EVTM (electrical vacuum
troubleshooting manual) on eBay, and study the wiring diagrams for the
electronic and mechanical instrument clusters.  I don't believe that they
are a direct swap, to say the least.

And that's coming from a guy who's fixing to swap an SHO/MTX into a wagon
that came with 3.8L/Auto.
