IIRC, Apaches fly in groups (don't remember the
correct term...maybe "flight" or squadron) of 8. The
flight leader gives permission to go "weapons hot"
which gives each individual ship to engage threats at
their discretion. Usually the flight leader is towards
the center (if they're spread out in a line
formation)...
