[Shotimes] Rod Bearings - The REAL story?

Well... after some research from various places, it was determined that
the codes stamped on the rod bearings indicate the following:
All start with D for date
The second character (number) is the second number of the year of
manufacture
The third character (letter A-L) indicates the month of manufacture
TYSHO from SHOForum was the one who noticed the correlation. If you are
skeptical, look at the rod bearings and your car's build date. My bearings
would be made (1) in April and (5) in August of 1994. My SHO's build date
is December 9, 1994. There were a few other folks who noticed the same
correlation, which seems to prove this point. Check out the post if you are
