On my 90 I have two sensors on the dash. One looks like a photocell on the driverside and then I have the lamp sensor on the passengerside it seems to be under the plastic and has 3 slots over it about 1/4 inch wide 1 inch long rough estimate. I've not actually measured it.

Aren't there two sensors?

EATC uses a "Sunload Sensor"

AutoLamp uses a "Light Sensor/Amplifier"

It depends on what year SHO. On my '93 it is on the drivers side dashboard
top. On my friends '92 it is on the passengers side dash top.

I have discovered, due to my AMAZING technological skills (don't work. hit
it. still don't work. broke.), I have discovered that the solar doohickey
(yes, it's called a doohickey, dammit!) is no longer working, which is why
even when it was noon with nary a cloud in the sky, turning the autolamp on
would turn the lights on. Where would I find the little sensor doohickey?
just the solar panel-ette part.
