[Shotimes] Please help - Charging Problem

I have a problem where it seems like the Alternator doesn't put out enough
juice and eventually the battery gets depleted.

I had last year bought the Alternator at Checker. They bench tested it today
and said everything looked normal.

I had bought the battery at Autozone. They charged and test it and said it
was good.

Autozone has better testing equipment than Checker. Reinstalled everything
and had Autozone test the system. All was normal except the Alternator was
only putting out 8.5 amps. 

Checker doesn't have the ability to test the Amps on the car and said from
what they could see everything looked fine.

Does anyone have any ideas????
