Ok, got up this morning to pack my car and started it up and drove it a
few blocks to see if it would work right or not--and VOILA--just as Rick
assured me--it is all better now. It must have gotten wet--I suspected
that as it happened too close to that cleaning to have been just a
coincidence.

So now, I am off to enjoy myself and miss all you others at the
convention. Hopefully, will meet all of you in upcoming events.

Christina

Thanks Rick for the reassurance--it helped me sleep a lot better last
night!

Nope. Trust me, I shorted mine all the time. Didn't break a fuse. It did
exactly what Christina described.

If the wires were broken it probably wouldn't do the on/off thing.... if
it shorted, it should pop a fuse somewhere...... I've had one with
broken wires and I've had it wet from washing.....that's why I'm sure
it's just wet .
